Tracy Owen developed these fine finishing tools from round bar to give improved control of the tool when held on the tool-rest at about 45° to make shear scraping cuts. When they are employed correctly final touches to the form can be completed and sanding will be reduced to a minimum.

Tracy is an accomplished artistic woodturner known for his texturing and colouring expertise. He also gives tuition at his home workshop in Northwich.
