All of our chamfered window boards are manufactured from premium kiln-dried hardwood. Kiln drying helps reduce the timber's moisture content before machining, improving stability and helping to minimise movement after installation.
Please note that boards measuring 200mm wide and above are manufactured using carefully selected jointed sections of solid timber to achieve the required width whilst maintaining the strength, stability and premium appearance expected from genuine hardwood.
As timber is a natural material, every board will display its own unique grain pattern, colour variation and character. These natural features ensure every installation has its own individual appearance.
