Choosing the Correct Dimensions

To achieve the best results when planing your hardwood boards, it's important to select the right dimensions:

For a final planed width of 100mm, choose a sawn board that is at least 10mm wider than your finished size. This allows room for accurate planing and trimming.

Wider sawn timber boards may naturally develop some cup or twist. To achieve a flat and even result, we recommend adding 10–15mm to your required finished thickness when selecting your sawn board.
