For a finished planed width of 100mm, choose a rough sawn board that is at least 10mm wider than your intended final size.

Wider sawn ash boards may be more susceptible to natural movement such as cupping or twisting. We recommend adding 10–15mm to your desired finished thickness to allow for proper planing and a consistent, smooth result.
