Alan Lacer Radiused Skew Chisel

This skew chisel has been developed by professional turner Alan Lacer. About one-quarter to one third of the cutting edge from the long point is straight and 90°to the long point edge. The remainder of the edge is curved.

This is a hefty tool, the blade has a rolled edge easing movement on the lathe tool rest.
