Door montage

We can design and manufacture both internal and external hardwood doors to match any type of property for the home, offices and commercial properties. Replacing any style like for like would not be difficult as we can make and match mouldings that may be required for period properties.

We offer a selection of bespoke solid wood doors and frames to suit every type of property. These include internal doors, external doors, bifold doors, garage doors, and entrance doors offering both a modern and traditional style in a wide range of finishes. Using quality products, we ensure that your custom-made door is not only visually stunning, but durable too.

Custom-made interior doors can be manufactured to fit a non-standard opening, to suit an interior design scheme or to recreate a historical period. We can advise on the choice of design features such as the number of panels, mouldings and use of glazing to create interest or additional light. We can also offer advice on the finish required for your internal doors, offering both oiled and painted finishes.

Good design is the key to durability and function of an exterior door. Our team can assess your requirements for the period and style of the property, timber choice, preservation and finish, draught and weather proofing, security measures and door furniture. Doors can be supplied pre-hung into frames with ironmongery installed or supplied loose for installation on site. Our doors can also be fully decorated before delivery or supplied primed for finishing on site.

Braced and ledged door

Made from carefully selected PEFC certified character grade oak boards. The vertical boards are of random width, tongue and grooved with a beaded profile to the front. It is strengthened with 30mm thick x 145mm wide ledges and 30mm x 127mm braces. The ledge and braces have beveled edges giving a final touch of quality. These doors are constructed for stability and strength over years of use.

The boards are glued and screwed through the ledges and braces so there are no fixings showing on the face side of the door. The screw heads are hidden with oak plugs making a fine finish on both sides of the door. The ledges stop 25mm short of the door edge so they don’t foul the doorstop.

All doors are made to order so if our option sizes don't suit your doorframes simply let us have the sizes required. Our internal doors are supplied unfinished so the desired finish can be applied when hung (we suggest Osmo or Treatex Hardwax Oil).

We can supply doorframes, skirting and architrave to match our doors.
