Beech Spindle Blanks

All of spindle blanks listed are cut from prime kiln dried beech and planed on all four sides.  Beech is a creamy white to pale brown. It is straight grained with a fine even texture commonly used in furniture, cabinet making, kitchenware, tool handles, workbenches. toys and chopping boards. Beech cuts well with hand tools and will sand to give a high finish.

All our spindle blanks are supplied sawn with the edge sealed with hot wax to reduce the chance of the wood absorbing moisture if stored in damp conditions.
